Professional Development

Professional Development

The Cape Cod Collaborative offers a variety of professional development and training opportunities for the educators and support personnel of our member districts.  Most often these courses and events are also available to nonmember district personnel.

The Cape Cod Collaborative has grown from providing a single training to 30 teachers in 2003 to a wide selection of offerings to more than 1000 educators in 2018.  Input from the Superintendents’, Curriculum Administrators’ and Special Education Directors’ Advisory Groups inform our selection of offerings, which allows us to provide the most timely and applicable training possible.

Accessing All Professional Development Offerings

Through a DESE grant, we have been able to partner with our 19 school districts via a web-based program known as SMART EDU PD. This platform allows for the networking of resources, course registration and comprehensive record keeping, with regard to all professional development offerings administered by the Cape Cod Collaborative.  Access to SMART EDU PD is easy, whether you are employed by a member district or not.

To access all professional development offerings visit our  CCC Professional Development Page.  Educators in participating collaboratives and districts are issued a username and password for this page. If you are having trouble accessing it, check with your district administrator.
