Executive Director, Cape Cod Collaborative
The Board of Directors of the Cape Cod Collaborative (CCC) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. CCC is comprised of 19 school districts from Cape Cod and Islands locale. The central office of CCC is located at 418 Bumps River Road, Osterville, Massachusetts. A Board of Directors made up of School Committee representatives from the member districts administers the operation of CCC through its Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have prior successful administrative experience managing/supervising public school programs. A strong background in area of school/municipal finance will be important in the selection process. A thorough understanding of current education laws and regulations is required. Master’s degree in education or school administration required.

Salary: $170,000-190,000    Application deadline: August 31, 2024

Administrative Assistant – ASLP Program
This position is responsible for the Advanced Studies & Leadership Program (ASLP), Professional Development, Executive Search and other projects which support the Collaborative and its member school disticts.

Position Overview and Responsibilities: This is a part-time, year round, 20-25 hourly position. The primary responsibilities for this position are excellent communication (both oral and written) skills, general knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting practices, and the ability to multi-task. To coordinate and manage ASLP enrollment forms,tuition payments, maintain website, monitor emails and telephone messages.

Qualifications: Relevant experience, training or certification in office administration. General knowledge of standard office procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs & Sheets. Ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments is essential.

IT Specialist
The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking an IT Support Specialist for services at our building location(s) assigned by the Collaborative Administration.

– Maintain a Technology Help Desk and provide site-based assistance to program locations, administrative offices, and off-site locations.
– Maintain Windows, Apple and Chrome devices and printers (Installation,upgrades, cleaning, troubleshooting, and provide IT support for teachers and staff)
– Install computer hardware and software while maintaining accurate, up-to-date inventory in asset database.
– Support program and teaching staff database management, including public school required databases
– Support various types of technology hardware including projectors, LED screens, and interactive tablets and boards, phone systems, security cameras, and facilities controls.
– Work with vendors to support IT operations
– Accurately track all customer problems and requests in the IT – Department’s central ticketing system to insure responsive follow-up on customer requests or problems and completion of assigned tasks.
– Administer user accounts and group permissions
– Work collaboratively with other personnel
– Train staff in the effective use of district applications. Maintain up-to-date documentation and media support intiatives.
– Assist with the update of the website
– Adapt to new IT technology as needed with prior appropriate training provided by the Collaborative
– Advocate and adhere to the IT strategies, hardware and software standards, security policies and operational procedures of CCC, which are consistently applied to all schools
– Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned
– Skills and Experience expected of IT Support Specialist
– Experience with Apple, Windows and Chrome platforms
– Knowledge of networking concepts on LAN and WAN and basic network troubleshooting skills
– Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues at one time
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Preferred experience in an education agency (e.g., school district, school network or collaborative) setting;

Cafeteria Manager
The Cape Cod Collaborative Waypoint Program in South Yarmouth is seeking a Cafeteria Manager to prepare and serve breakfast and lunch. This position would involve food preparation, cleaning of food prep services, food ordering, and tracking of deliveries. The anticipated hours are 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM on days when school is in session.The well-qualified candidate will have appropriate ServSafe certification. Occupational Therapist
The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work full time with students in Collaborative programs and member districts.Responsibilities include: Performing screening and evaluations to assess student strengths and needs. Providing written evaluation reports in accordance to mandated special education timelines. Providing therapy services to students in accordance with student IEPs. Completing IEP progress notes and reports. Attending IEP meetings as necessary. Consulting with evaluation team members and special education teachers. Assigning, constructing or requesting appropriate adaptive equipment and devices for students and/or classroom and providing training in its usage to appropriate personnel.Other responsibilities / duties as assigned by Director.

Teacher – High School
The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking a High School multi subject teacher for Waypoint Academy, an alternative education public day program, for the 2023-2024 school year. This program supports students with behavioral, social, and learning challenges with a positive team approach. The ability to physically handle interventions with students and the ability to demonstrate positive communication skills are crucial.

Special Needs Teachers
The Cape Cod Collaborative has openings for Special Needs Teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. The Cape Cod Collaborative operates public day schools for students with significant learning challenges, utilizing a highly-specialized team approach to support student strengths and help build independence. This is a challenging, yet rewarding opportunity to learn and grow professionally. The STAR Program (Osterville) is a specialized program supporting students with significant learning and behavioral challenges. There are openings for teachers with certification in Moderate Disabilities and certification in Intensive Special Needs. Waypoint Academy (Yarmouth) supports students in middle and high school in an alternative school setting. The Collaborative is seeking teachers with Moderate Disabilities (5 – 12) certification.

Speech & Language Pathologists
The Cape Cod Collaborative has immediate openings for full time and part time Speech & Language Pathologists to support student needs for member school districts. Responsibilities include evaluation of speech-language disorders for individuals age 3 to 21 with consideration of educational, medical, social, and psychological factors; provision of student-centered direct therapy, indirect therapy, modeling, and consultation within classrooms and on community outings; maintenance of records as required by law; documentation of progress and adjustment of goals, as needed; attendance at team, consultation, and staff meetings; parent training, as needed; participation in in-service training, conference attendance. Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication systems is preferred.
In order to adequately perform the professional and complex duties of this position, a minimum of a master’s degree (or equivalent) in speech-language pathology is required. Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.

Paraprofessionals
Special Education Paraprofessionals / Teacher Assistants are needed for the STAR Program in Osterville. Experience with students with disabilities and/or behavioral challenges is preferred. We are seeking applicants who a willing to grow in the field of special education. The Cape Cod Collaborative has partnered with Bridgewater State University to provide a pathway to achieving teacher certification in special education.

School Bus Drivers
School bus drivers require a Class B CDL license with air brake, passenger and school bus endorsements. The Collaborative offers paid training to qualified applicants. $29 to $31.00 / hour ($43 / hour on Nantucket) plus up to $2,000 new hire incentive.

7D Van Drivers
Van drivers must have a “7D Certificate” to transport students. The Collaborative offers the required pre-service training and in-service training. $23 / hour

School Bus Monitors
School bus monitors assist students on and off the bus and maintain order on the bus while in route. Must be able to lift 40 lbs., move about the bus, and assist in an emergency evacuation if required. $21 / hour.
